Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with mahogany undertones and copper-gold highlights, a warm, sun-kissed bronze.

Nose

Soft malt envelopes a bouquet of juicy sultanas and raisins, chocolate-orange creams, and buttery shortbread. Honeyed apples mingle with madeira cake, wine gums, and creamy sherry wood, lending a warm, confection-like aroma.

Palate

Buttery malt anchors the palate, with ginger biscuits, juicy dried fruit and toffee apple. Waxy orange, a whisper of leather, and a trace of smoke mingle across the mid-palate, finishing warm, softly sweet, and lingering.

Finish

Chewy, buttery finish with clove-spiced orange, heather honey and old-fashioned toffee; baked apples and raisin fudge linger, a subtle wisp of smoke.
