Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany at the rim, a warm, sherry-tinted glow.
Nose
Sherry-cask depth with aged elegance: dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—coats dark honey and vanilla oak. Toasted almond, malt sweetness, and a whisper of cacao mingle with a hint of spice (nutmeg, clove), adding warmth. Complex, velvety, and refined, it exudes vintage craftsmanship and time-honored oak.
Palate
Silky on the palate with a classic, gently syrupy sweetness that builds into dark fruit and toasted nut notes. Rich raisin and fig mingle with cocoa and caramelized malt, while a whisper of sherry-cask spice travels through the oak. Balanced vanilla and a touch of dried fruit linger, evolving into a warm, lingering finish with subtle tannin and soft spice.
Finish
Very long, elegant finish with sherry-cask depth. Dried fig and raisin provide sweetness, entwined with dark chocolate and toasted almond. Gentle spice and oaken tannins linger, delivering a warm caramel glow and a final whisper of tobacco and leather.
