Colour

Deep amber with mahogany hues and a burnished copper glow.

Nose

On the nose, a lush sherry orchestra opens with dark plum and raisin, fig paste and toasted almond. Cocoa and hazelnut sweetness meet toffee and vanilla, while orange zest and a whisper of cinnamon lift the aroma. Subtle leather and oak add refinement, with a velvety, sun-warmed maturity.

Palate

Silky and balanced, Mackinlay's Legacy coats the palate with sherried dark fruit—raisins, figs and a whisper of orange marmalade—layered over vanilla, almond and cocoa. Spice notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove mingle with refined oak, delivering a long, warm finish that lingers with fruit, citrus zest and a touch of chocolate.

Finish

A long, sherry-kissed finish with plush fruit and oak. Dried raisin and fig linger beside cocoa, gentle spice and toasted almond, slowly dissolving into velvety warmth.
