Tasting Notes

Colour

Pale gold with a sun-kissed amber edge.

Nose

Peppery rye dominates with white pepper and ginger atop vanilla-sweet oak. Subtle citrus zest and caramel lift the aroma, giving a bright, buoyant, approachable nose.

Palate

Light, lean entry with a crisp peppery bite—white pepper and ginger—while subtle clove threads through vanilla and caramel. Mid-palate shows citrus zest and oak, brightening the sweetness, and the finish is clean and dry, carried by a lingering rye spice.

Finish

Crisp, peppery finish with a light rye bite that lingers. Hints of vanilla and spice weave through, drying softly and leaving a gentle citrus note as it fades.

Jim Beam
Jim Beam traces its roots to the late 18th century, when the Beam family settled in Kentucky and began distilling bourbon. A major turning point came in 1894, when James Beauregard “Jim” Beam took over the family business, and another followed after Prohibition, when he rebuilt the distillery in Clermont, Kentucky in 1933–35. The modern brand grew from that post-Prohibition revival, with T. Jeremiah Beam re-founding the business in 1935 as the Jim B. Beam Distilling Company and giving the bourbon the Jim Beam name.
