Jack Daniel's Unaged Tennessee Rye Whiskey
Out of stock
In December 2012, Jack Daniel’s released an entirely new Whiskey which was very different from anything they had done before. Unaged Tennessee Rye was the first time in over 100 years that Jack Daniel had used a new grain recipe.
This was a very limited release due to the remainder of the Rye Whiskey barrels being left to mature in the warehouses for a future release.
Made available to the public with much anticipation and technically not part of a series, this is still the 1st of 3 Rye Whiskey’s that will be released by Jack Daniel's. Other than this Unaged Tennessee Rye, there is also a Rested Tennessee Rye which was released in 2014 and an Aged Tennessee Rye which will be released at a future date.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Bright, grain-forward aroma with fresh rye at the fore—peppery spice, white pepper and a lift of citrus zest. Subtle cereal sweetness, faint floral notes, and a clean, airy frame that hints at its unaged, pure rye character.
Palate
Bright, grain-forward palate with assertive rye spice—white pepper, clove and a brisk zing, underscored by citrus zest and green apple. Unaged and clean, it delivers no wood sweetness, leaving a crisp finish of lively spice and a lingering rye kick.
