Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery edges, a warm, resonant glow.
Nose
Opulent, concentrated nose of toasted oak, vanilla and dark caramel. Dried fig and raisin mingle with cocoa and espresso, while leather and tobacco add depth. Spices—cinnamon, clove—thread through orange zest, lifting a whisper of smoke from charred barrels. Bold, warming and long, inviting a second inhale into the rare, high-octane profile.
Palate
A dense, velvety entry of dark caramel, toffee and raisin, layered with espresso and dark chocolate. Rich oak brings vanilla and spice—cinnamon and clove—while dark fruit lingers. Full-bodied and warming, the 53.5% strength sits smoothly, finishing with toasted oak and a long, sweet, resinous note.
Finish
Long, elegant finish clings with toasted oak, dark caramel and chocolate, a hint of dried fruit and vanilla. The elevated proof delivers a warm, peppery spice that lingers, slowly fading into cacao, tobacco, and a touch of smoke for a refined, lasting finish.
