Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights, a warm honey-bronze glow along the edges.
Nose
Rich and inviting: vanilla bean, caramel and toasted oak mingle with brown sugar and corn sweetness. Orange zest and baking spices brighten the aroma, while a gentle smoky undercurrent from the charred barrel adds depth, and a warm grainy warmth hints at its 50% ABV.
Palate
Bold, full-bodied caramel and vanilla rise over toasted oak, with ripe orchard fruit and cinnamon spice, touched by a whisper of maple. The 50% ABV keeps the texture velvety yet assertive, delivering a charcoal-softened sweetness that lingers into a toasty finish of caramel, cocoa, and oak.
Finish
Silky and persistent, the finish delivers creamy vanilla and toasted oak, folded with caramel sweetness. Spiced with black pepper and orange zest, it settles into a warm, charred-barrel glow that lingers long on the palate, leaving a final kiss of cocoa and a whisper of smoke.
