Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-gold highlights and a warm, sunlit caramel core.
Nose
Rich and inviting, the nose pours forth toasted oak, vanilla bean, and caramel, lifted by a trace of charcoal sweetness. Orange zest, brown sugar, and a gentle rye-spice warmth mingle with a creamy undertone, finishing with almond and spice notes.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this opens with caramelized vanilla, honey and toasted oak. Rich brown sugar, pecan and dark chocolate unfurl on the mid-palate, dotted with orange zest for brightness. Cinnamon and black pepper weave through resinous spice, intensified by the 50% ABV. The finish is long and warming, leaving vanilla, oak, coffee and a touch of leather to linger.
Finish
Long, warm finish of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel, with a gentle spice that lingers gracefully, slowly fading to a refined, lasting calm.
