Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent vanilla and caramel lead the nose, intertwined with toasted oak and brown sugar. Subtle orange zest and dried fruit lift above wisps of char, while peppery spice adds definition. Rich, inviting, and precise, it conveys a bold single-barrel character even before the sip.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this single-barrel unfolds a lush core of vanilla, caramel and toffee, braided with toasted oak. Spices—cinnamon and clove—and a hint of dark fruit emerge on the mid-palate, supported by a velvety mouthfeel. At 50% ABV the warmth carries into a long, elegant finish of oak, cocoa and a subtle charcoal note, lingering with sweetness and refinement.
Finish
Long, warming finish from a single-barrel release, cloaked in vanilla and toffee that trail over toasted oak. Subtle spice lingers, while caramel sweetness fades to a velvet, lightly warm echo, leaving a clean, lasting sweetness on the palate.
