Originally released in 1997 as a Travel Retail exclusive, Jack Daniel's Silver Select is bottled at a higher strength of 100 Proof (50% ABV). This 1st generation bottle design was produced from 1997 until 2010, when the packaging was re-designed. Jack Daniel's Silver Select was finally discontinued in 2015, and was replaced by Jack Daniel’s 100 Proof in 2016.

At 50% ABV the momentum stays poised, delivering a warm, long finish of oak, spice, and a hint of charcoal sweetness that lingers gracefully.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with toasted oak, vanilla and caramel lingering on the palate, unfolding into cinnamon and white pepper spice. A warm, silky fade that holds a light smoke and honeyed sweetness, leaving a polished, enduring impression.
