"Jack's secret is no secret; it's quality and being true to who you are." - Jimmy Bedford
Released 2017
The sixth bottling in the Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series. This expression was named after James Bedford, who served as master distiller for the distillery between 1988 and 2008.
Like their founder Jack Daniel, Jimmy Bedford was both a farmer and a whiskey-maker, so he knew a thing or two about the importance of strong roots. He made his whiskey Jack's way. True to its roots and true to Jack's words - "Every day we make it, we'll make it the best we can."
Making its debut in September of 2012, this new series celebrates the 6 Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel Distillery.
Available in 2 sizes (700ml & 1L), each bottle is filled with 86 proof whiskey. They are also each individually numbered and sold in a collectible box. For display purposes, when 2 boxes are put side-by-side they complete an image of the Master Distiller being commemorated.

Deep amber with warm honey-gold highlights and coppery sheen, a luminous colour that speaks of oak and sunlit sweetness.

Long, refined finish with warm vanilla, toffee and toasted oak. A subtle spice threads through the sweetness, leaving a honeyed warmth that lingers gracefully.
