The 7th and final bottle in the Gold Medal Series celebrates the most recent gold medal Jack Daniel’s has received, and perhaps the most prestigious. Despite the strict judging criteria, Jack Daniel’s came away with the institution’s top medal, the highly sought after Grand Gold Medal with Palm Leaves. This commemorative bottle celebrating that achievement was released in 2006.
Beginning in 1996 and continuing for the next 10 years, the Jack Daniel Distillery released its Gold Medal Series of commemorative bottles. Comprised of seven unique designs, each bottle in this series celebrates a different gold medal won by the Distillery. In the U.S., the series featured 750ml bottles filled with 90 proof whiskey. International markets offer these bottles only in a 1 litre size, with the exception of the first bottle in the series which was available only in the 750ml size.

Silky and refined on the palate, this Tennessee whiskey delivers a creamy echo of vanilla and caramel, unfolding into toasted oak and subtle spice. A whisper of charcoal lends quiet smoke, while citrus zest brightens the mid-palate. Medium-bodied, with a warm, enduring finish of vanilla, toffee and spice.
Finish
Long, graceful finish with creamy vanilla and caramel sweetness, balanced by toasted oak and a whisper of spice. The charcoal mellow delivers a smooth, warm fade that lingers softly, leaving a refined, slightly charred sweetness on the palate.
