Released 2010
For Jack’s 160th birthday in 2010, the Distillery took the commonly used Heritage bottle, and with a few modifications, made a bottle unlike any before it. No longer clear glass, this bottle was painted black by Chattanooga Labeling Systems. The idea came from Michael Osborne Design, which also devised the black label for the bottle and the box in which it came. While the 750ml size is quite common, the 1 liter version of this bottle was only released in a limited number of states.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Jet-black lacquered bottle with a deep obsidian glow.
Nose
Caramel and vanilla weave with toasted oak, revealing warm corn and a kiss of maple. Subtle charcoal mellowing adds refinement, while gentle spice and citrus zest lift the aroma, classic Jack Daniel’s depth in a special edition frame.
Palate
Silky, vanilla-forward entry with caramel and toffee, backed by toasted oak. Mid-palate reveals orange zest and warm spice, supported by a subtle charcoal-mellow backbone. The finish is smooth and lingering, with cocoa, cinnamon, and a light leather note inviting another thoughtful sip.
Finish
Silky and persistent, the finish unfolds with vanilla, honeyed caramel and toasted oak. A whisper of cinnamon and nutmeg lifts the sweetness, fading to warm char and a subtle, comforting smoke.
