Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper reflections and a warm mahogany edge, a sun-kissed, antique glow.
Nose
Aromas of polished oak and sherry cling to dried fig and raisin, with orange zest and dark cocoa. Hints of vanilla, toasted almond and spice weave through a silken malt, revealing age-softened sweetness and a refined leather undertone.
Palate
Silky, waxy texture coats the palate, unveiling a rich chorus of dried fruit (fig, raisin, date) and sherry sweetness. Dark chocolate, espresso, and orange zest weave through toasted oak, while clove and nutmeg spice lingers. The finish is long, refined, with resinous warmth and a final kiss of leather.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish drapes the palate in velvet warmth. Dried fruit and orange zest linger with cocoa and toasted almond, a gentle sherry glow softening the oak. Leather and spice drift in the final notes, leaving a polished, enduring sweetness that invites the next sip.
