Cask Strength

Helsinki Whiskey Rye Malt is a mellow Finnish rye malt whisky. It is made using the best Finnish malted rye and barley. It is small-batch distilled by hand, and matured in carefully selected oak casks. Barley gives the whisky its velvety smoothness, and rye its spicy sweetness.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Vanilla and fudge from the virgin oak cask, malted rye and freshly baked rye loaf from the distillate.

Palate

Notes of vanilla, dried pears and figs, caramel, liquorice, herbs, coffee and dark chocolate.

Finish

Long and lingering. Spiciness of rye whisky is evident.
