Tasting Notes

Nose

Vibrant citrus zest and crisp green apple rise, balanced by creamy vanilla and honeyed barley. A delicate almond note, toasted oak, and a soft spice frame a whisper of dried fruit, yielding a bright, refined Speyside aroma with distillery purity.

Palate

Powerful yet refined, Glenlossie coats the palate with honeyed malt, orange zest and green apple. Sherry cask influence deepens the fruit into fig and raisin, underscored by toffee, cocoa and spice. At 62.4% ABV the finish is long, warming and peppery, with oak polish and a silky, lingering grip.

Finish

Long, warming finish where sherry-sweet fruit lingers with toasted almond and dark chocolate. Orange zest sparks spice as a silky veil carries the heat into polished oak, leaving a refined, lingering glow of cinnamon and a touch of espresso.

(Glen-LOSS-ee) Glenlossie is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Elgin in Moray, founded in 1876 by John Duff, Alexander Allen, H.M.S. Mackay and John Hopkins. Duff later went on to build Longmorn, giving Glenlossie a useful link to one of Speyside’s best-regarded distillery founders. The distillery joined DCL in 1919, became part of the Haig portfolio in 1930, and is now owned by Diageo.
