Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with a warm copper glow and a touch of mahogany, hinting at rich sherry-cask maturation.

Nose

Rich sherry aromas mingle with fig, raisin and orange zest; toasted oak and almond provide structure while a whisper of vanilla supports a warming, spicy malt bouquet.

Palate

Silky, medium-bodied with a warm sherry glow. Notes of fig, date and plum mingle with dark chocolate, toasted almond and a kiss of toffee. Subtle spice: cinnamon and clove, drifting over polished oak, leaving a soft sweetness that dries to a long, elegant finish with coffee and leather.

Finish

Long, sherry-tinged finish with dried fig, cocoa and toasted almond; gentle spice and oak linger, fading to a refined, mellow dryness.
