Glen Grant Gordon & MacPhail Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 42 Year Old · 1965 Vintage
Out of stock
Distilled at Glen Grant in 1965 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2008 after more than four decades in oak, this Speyside single malt was presented at 40% ABV.
One of a small number of vintage releases from this era, it showcases whisky drawn from carefully selected casks laid down during a prolific period for independent bottlers like Gordon & MacPhail, who built a reputation by choosing mature stocks from classic Speyside distilleries.
The extended maturation in a combination of refill sherry butt and American hogsheads softens and integrates the spirit’s orchard fruit and gentle floral notes, while adding layers of dried fruit, subtle spice and oak-driven complexity.
