Deep, dark amber with mahogany and copper highlights, a burnished, sun-warmed glow.

Smoky, aromatic and rich, this nose conjures a warm peat smoke with a subtle sweetness. Dried fruit notes swirl through the bouquet, underscored by soft, inviting peat that lingers.

Palate

Dried fruits mingle with spices—aniseed and cloves—while a smoky, yet smooth, mouthfeel lingers with a touch of sweetness.

Finish

Long, sweet, and smoky, the finish lingers with dried fruit and spice, a soft, honeyed peat warmth that coats the palate and invites another sip.

The Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky created by Matthew Gloag & Son in Perth, with the first Grouse whiskies launched in the late 1890s and The Famous Grouse name officially registered in 1905. Its red grouse label became one of the most recognisable designs in Scotch whisky, with the bird originally drawn by Philippa Gloag, Matthew Gloag’s daughter.
