Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with a sun-bronze glow and burnished mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent and warm, the nose opens with dried fig and plum, braided with orange peel and hazelnut. Rich sherry influence yields toffee, raisin, and dark chocolate, while oak adds cinnamon-spice and a touch of leather. A honeyed floral lift lingers, giving a dusky, confectionary elegance.
Palate
Full, velvety palate with a subtly oily mouthfeel. Dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—combine with dark chocolate, toffee and almond, carried by a whisper of sherry. Spices bloom mid-mouth—cinnamon, nutmeg—while orange zest and warm oak lift the finish into cocoa-dusted length and quiet warmth.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with dried fruit, cocoa and toasted oak, carried by a gentle sherried sweetness. Spices whisper—cinnamon and clove—before fading to a silky, walnut-tinged finale.
