Diplomatico Distillery Collection No. 2 - Barbet Rum

Diplomático is produced in La Miel, Venezuela, at a distillery whose roots go back to 1959. The brand itself was launched later and grew out of that wider distilling operation, before a major turning point in 2002, when the business was acquired by Venezuelan investors and became Destilerías Unidas (DUSA). Another important milestone followed in 2022, when Brown-Forman acquired Diplomático, giving the brand a larger global platform while production remained tied to its Venezuelan home.
