Crabbie Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 8 Year Old
Out of stock
The name of Crabbie has remained famous throughout its long history in the Scottish drinks trade thanks to its famous ginger wine brand, however The Crabbie company can trace its roots back to 1801, when Millar Crabbie first started blending whisky.
Now the name is associated with whisky again, this is a recreation of the old 8 year old brand that used to be available pre 1970's and is a single malt from a mystery Highland distillery.
“The nose initially presents breakfast cereals and evolves into fruit loaf with hints of dried apple. It has a smooth texture and sweet taste, with a medium-length finish. Adding water brings a slight waxiness and fruitiness to the aroma, and a spice to the finish." (Charles Maclean).
