About Smirnoff
Smirnoff traces its origins to Moscow in 1864, when P.A. Smirnov founded his vodka business and became known for charcoal filtration. After the Russian Revolution, his son Vladimir relaunched the name in Europe using the anglicised spelling Smirnoff, helping turn the family name into an international vodka brand.
Now owned by Diageo, Smirnoff is one of the world’s most widely recognised vodka names, with Smirnoff No. 21 at the centre of the range. It is made using triple distillation and ten stages of filtration, giving it the clean, neutral style that has made it a long-standing choice for mixed drinks, cocktails and flavoured vodka releases.
