About Rock Island
Rock Island is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, created as part of the independent bottler’s Remarkable Regional Malts range. Formerly known as Rock Oyster, it brings together single malts from Scotland’s whisky islands, including Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney, with the aim of capturing a coastal, maritime style.
Bottled at 46.8% ABV and presented without chill filtration or added colouring, Rock Island offers notes of sea salt, smoke, honey, malt, citrus, pepper and gentle peat. The range includes the core Rock Island expression alongside aged and limited releases, making it a strong choice for drinkers who enjoy island Scotch whisky with freshness, salinity and smoky depth.
