About Evan Williams
Evan Williams is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, first launched as the company’s flagship bourbon in 1957. It is named after Evan Williams, who is credited with opening Kentucky’s first commercial distillery on the banks of the Ohio River in 1783, giving the brand one of the strongest historical references in American whiskey.
The core Evan Williams Bourbon is made from Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley, aged in new charred oak barrels. The range includes Evan Williams Black Label, Bottled-in-Bond, 1783 Small Batch, Single Barrel and flavoured whiskey liqueurs, with a classic bourbon profile of caramel, vanilla, oak, spice and soft corn sweetness.
