Made from the distillation of wine, Carlos I is aged in Jerez through the traditional criaderas and solera system, using American oak casks that previously held Osborne sherries. The result is a smooth, rounded Spanish brandy with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, oak and soft spice, with the wider range including expressions such as Carlos I Original, Imperial X.O., Amontillado, Pedro Ximénez and 1520.
