Athru
Athrú was developed by Lough Gill Distillery on the Hazelwood Estate near Sligo, with the Irish name meaning “change” or “transform”. The distillery was established in County Sligo in 2015, with Athrú introduced as its premium Irish single malt whiskey brand while the site’s own spirit was maturing. Early releases drew on sourced Irish single malt, finished and presented under the Athrú name.
