For over 265 years, Appleton Estate has been crafting Premium, aged rums in the heart of Jamaica. Our Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve, is a Jamaica rum crafted by Master Blender Joy Spence to commemorate Appleton Estate’s 250th anniversary. Joy has over 35 years of history at the Estate and, in 1997, became the first female Master Blender in the spirits industry.

The Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve, is aged a minimum of 8 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica, for a smoother, fuller flavour.

This is our most versatile expression of aged rum, ideal for sipping neat or in a cocktail - the balanced profile of the Appleton Estate 8 Year Old Reserve makes it perfect for any classic, mixing particularly well with the refreshing citrus of a Mai Tai.

Appleton Estate has documented rum production dating back to 1749 in Jamaica’s Nassau Valley, making it the oldest continuously operating rum distillery in Jamaica. The estate is closely tied to its location, with rum produced from molasses, fermented and distilled on site, then tropically aged in Jamaica. J. Wray & Nephew acquired Appleton Estate in 1916, and the business later became part of Campari Group in 2012.
