“The one who knows”. Embodying rich Zapotec tradition. In ancient Mexico shamans were the spiritual guides of pre-Hispanic people, using mezcal’s healing powers to strengthen the mystical bonds of the communities. We offer a modern twist. All bottles contain only agave, fire, water, rain and air. No electricity is used during the entire production process. Xaman only use mature plants and rich in flavour (about 10 years of age). Three generations of mezcal mastery. Single origin in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca, Mexico. Produced in a conscious and sustainable way. Zero additives.

A versatile and balanced mezcal, with the right smokiness. Our Espadin is 100% Agave. Espadin Joven selected and harvested by hand, cooked in stone ovens, fermented in wooden vats and twice distilled in copper stills.

Flavour Profile

Stone-roasted espadín, with a refined, balanced smoke and mineral backbone. On the palate, roasted agave sweetness meets citrus zest and cacao nib, edged by gentle green herb. Smooth, airy mouthfeel; the ember finish lingers, leaving a clean, peppery warmth and subtle smoke.
