Tasting Notes

Nose

Sherried sweetness greets the nose: figs, dark plum and raisin with orange zest and toffee. Nutty almond, cocoa nib and vanilla drift over toasted oak, while a whisper of leather and spice lends refined depth.

Palate

Silken and sherried, the palate opens with dark plum, fig and raisin, brightened by orange zest and red currant. Rich toffee and cocoa ride atop velvety oak, touched by nutmeg and cinnamon. A warm, balanced finish delivers dried fruit, mocha and a subtle leather note, carried by lingering sherry sweetness.

Finish

Long, sherried finish with dark fruit compote, cocoa and toasted almond. Raisin and orange zest glide into spice and oak, trailing a gentle warmth and a touch of smoke.
