Quinta Do Noval Colheita Tawny Port 2009 Vintage

Quinta do Noval Colheita is a rare Port wine, produced in small quantities. It is a Tawny from a single vintage. Each Colheita is distinct, although always marked by the terroir of Quinta do Noval and the year, just like our Vintage Port, but aged in oak casks until bottling.

In exceptional years, some batches of wine with great aging potential are separated and aged in casks to make Colheita, a single-year Tawny. When we consider the wine ready, often after about 15 years, we bottle some of this wine for commercialization. This 2009 Colheita was bottled for the first time in 2022. The remaining stock of 2009 Colheita will continue to age in casks for future bottling, when we decide the time is right.
