Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze sheen and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opulent, multi-layered nose reveals sherry-soaked dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—interwoven with creamy vanilla, toffee and oak from bourbon casks. Subtle red-wine and berry notes add elegance, while spice (nutmeg, clove) and a hint of coastal salt and citrus zest lift the aroma. Rich, inviting and refined, with a warm, lingering finish.
Palate
Silky palate glimmers with sherried dark fruit, orange zest and vanilla-bourbon sweetness, tempered by wine-cask depth. Creamy malt, hints of spice and oak weave through the mid-palate, while coastal salt lingers at the edge. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, cocoa and a refined oak finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish with sherry-dried fruit sweetness, dark cocoa and orange zest, tempered by toasted oak. Spices bloom late—cinnamon, nutmeg—giving a warm, peppery fade that slowly lingers, hinting at the blend’s multi-cask maturity.
