Port Ellen’s maritime smoke and iodine lead into Mortlach’s rich malt, dark fruit and spice; Balmenach adds honeyed orchard fruit and oak, while Strathmill brings vanilla, green apple and citrus. A layered, coastal-sweet nose with refined spice — a quartet of character in harmony.
Palate
A mosaic of coastal smoke, rich malt and orchard fruit. Port Ellen offers sea-salted peat and citrus; Mortlach delivers velvety dark fruit, cocoa and spice; Balmenach adds toasted cereal and honeyed warmth; Strathmill brings creamy vanilla, green apple and lemon zest. Together they form a balanced, warming palate with a soft peat echo and silky malt sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming finish with coastal smoke, honeyed malt and citrus hints, finishing in cinnamon spice and toasted oak as the echo softly fades.
