Kraken Spiced Rum

The Kraken is a dark spiced rum based on rums distilled from molasses at Angostura Distillery, Trinidad and aged between one and two years.

This is then blended with spices, including cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Spicy and rich with notes of vanilla and toffee.

Myth has it that some crews insisted on sourcing crates of black cherries and vanilla pods from Madagascar to put in their hold. The delectable fusion was claimed to be a remedy for Kraken sucker bites, the freshness said to take away the foul poisons.
