Our harvest in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Champillon (75%), Avize and Oiry (25%): winter is mild and dry, spring marked by three major episodes of frost with damage mainly on Chardonnays and therefore ultimately a dominant pinot on this vintage. Summer is dry with heatwave episodes causing scalding. Vintage from September 12 to 22, of exceptional quality with very moderate yields. The wines are structured, balanced, long and complex. Viticulture respectful of the soil and plant serving plot diversity. Winemaking and aging in tuns on lees without filtration or fining.
