Jacquesson is a historic Champagne house founded in 1798 in Châlons-sur-Marne by Claude and Memmie Jacquesson. Now based in Dizy, the house played an important role in Champagne’s 19th-century development, with Adolphe Jacquesson patenting the wire cage, or muselet, in 1844, the closure still used to secure Champagne corks today.
