Fresh and finely balanced, it combines bright citrus and orchard-fruit notes with gentle brioche and pastry character from ageing on the lees, supported by crisp acidity and a persistent mousse.

Hambledon is one of England’s most historic wine estates, founded in Hampshire in 1952 by Major-General Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones. Regarded as the first commercial vineyard of the modern English wine era, the estate is based in the village of Hambledon within the South Downs National Park and specialises in traditional-method sparkling wine. Today, its vineyards cover more than 200 acres and are planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
