Crystal Head Year of the Horse Limited Edition is a collectible Canadian vodka created to celebrate Lunar New Year 2026. Founded by actor Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander, Crystal Head is recognised for its distinctive skull-shaped bottles and additive-free approach to vodka production. This limited-edition release presents the iconic bottle in a brilliant metallic red finish, decorated with an intricate golden horse and floral motif.

The horse is traditionally associated with strength, freedom, vitality and determination, while the flowing artwork represents movement, ambition and good fortune. Released in limited quantities, the Year of the Horse bottle is the third entry in Crystal Head’s collectible Lunar New Year series, following the Year of the Dragon and Year of the Snake editions. Inside the bottle is Crystal Head Original Vodka, crafted from locally sourced Canadian corn and blended with pristine water from Newfoundland. The spirit is distilled four times and filtered seven times, with three filtrations passing through layers of semi-precious Herkimer diamonds. Crystal Head Original is produced without additives or added sugar, allowing its clean texture and naturally smooth character to remain at the forefront.

The nose is clean and restrained, with neutral grain aromas and a delicate touch of citrus. The palate is silky and rounded, bringing subtle sweetness, soft vanilla and a gentle creamy quality, followed by a smooth and lightly sweet finish. Bottled at 40% ABV and presented in a 70cl bottle, Crystal Head Year of the Horse can be enjoyed chilled, served neat or used to create a refined vodka martini.
