Companero Extra Añejo 12 Year Old is a full-flavoured rum bottled at 54% ABV, combining long maturation with a higher-strength presentation that gives it extra depth and intensity. With 12 years of ageing behind it, it moves well beyond a lighter easy-drinking style, offering a richer, more concentrated profile where oak, dark sweetness and warming spice are more firmly to the fore.

The higher strength works especially well here, giving the rum more weight and structure while still allowing the maturity of the spirit to show through.
