Taylor’s, also known as Taylor Fladgate, is one of the oldest Port houses, with origins dating back to 1692. Founded by Job Bearsley, the company developed from early English trading links with Portugal into one of the major names in Port, later becoming Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman after the 1838 partnership between Joseph Taylor, John Fladgate and Morgan Yeatman.

Taylor’s is dedicated entirely to Port and is especially closely associated with Vintage Port. Its vineyard holdings include Quinta de Vargellas, acquired in 1893, one of the Douro’s best-known estates and an important source for the house’s top wines. The range covers classic Port styles including Vintage, Late Bottled Vintage, Tawny, Ruby and White Port, with a long-standing reputation for structured, age-worthy wines.
