Mount Gay rum is made using Barbadian molasses and distilled in both copper pot stills and column stills, giving the rum a balance of richness, structure and smoothness. Now owned by Rémy Cointreau, Mount Gay’s range includes Eclipse, Black Barrel, XO and limited Master Blender Collection releases, with the style centred on tropical fruit, vanilla, spice, oak and the rounded character associated with traditional Barbados rum.
