Warre’s 1980 Vintage Port was bottled in 1982 and offers the elegant, balanced style for which the historic Port house is known. Now fully mature, it shows layers of ripe dark fruit, plum and raspberry alongside floral notes, toffee, spice and subtle savoury complexity. The palate is smooth and generous, with softened tannins and a long, warming finish, while still retaining enough fruit and freshness to give the wine impressive balance after more than four decades in bottle.
