Limited to just 300 bottles per release, this is an experimental Irish single malt from Kinahan's. Aged for 7 years in Bourbon ex-white American oak casks and matured for a further 4 years in Italian Amarone wine barrels, bottled at cask strength.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep copper-amber with a warm mahogany glow.

Nose

Warm spices mingle with lush dark fruit and a thread of chocolate, carried on a polished oak glow. The Amarone cask influence adds dried-fruit depth and a subtle cocoa sweetness to the aroma.

Palate

Opulent and full-bodied, the palate delivers rich ripe fruit woven with sun-dried raisins and figs, with almond undertones. At cask strength, it remains warm and generous, finishing dry and nutty with a lingering, elegant fruit glow.

Finish

Dry and nutty, with lingering almond notes that echo the Amarone cask finish, leaving a crisp, refined finale.
