About Brewdog
BrewDog Spirits grew out of BrewDog’s Aberdeenshire brewing business, with its distilling project first developed at Ellon and launched commercially in 2017 under the LoneWolf name. The early range focused on gin and vodka, with equipment designed for wider spirit production including whisky, rum and other experimental releases.
The distilling arm later became BrewDog Distilling Co., with LoneWolf Gin joined by spirits such as Abstrakt Vodka, Five Hundred Cuts botanical rum, Duo Rum, Casa Rayos Tequila and Ron Bodega. LoneWolf Gin remained the best-known expression, built around juniper, citrus peel, lavender, lemongrass and pink pepper, giving the brand a brighter, modern gin profile rather than a traditional London Dry style.
In 2026, BrewDog announced it would wind down its distilling operation and discontinue its major spirits brands as it refocused on beer and ready-to-drink cocktails.
