About Berkshire
Berkshire Botanical was launched in 2019 by Johnny Neill, founder of Whitley Neill Gin and Mary-Le-Bone Gin. Production is based on the 9,000-acre Yattendon Estate in West Berkshire, where the brand draws on the surrounding countryside for its identity and botanical inspiration. The range was first made on a small still at The Royal Oak pub in Yattendon before moving to a dedicated distillery on the estate in 2022.
The flagship Berkshire Botanical Dry Gin uses botanicals including Norway spruce, juniper, coriander, sweet orange peel and grapefruit, with the estate’s Christmas tree growing providing a clear link to the gin’s spruce-led character. The wider range includes Rhubarb & Raspberry, Honey & Orange Blossom, Dandelion & Burdock, Sloe Gin, Morello Cherry, Orange & Grapefruit and Navy Strength, keeping the focus on bright, accessible countryside-inspired gins and liqueurs.
