About Baker's
Baker’s is part of the Jim Beam Small Batch Bourbon Collection and was created in 1992 by sixth-generation Beam Master Distiller Booker Noe. It is named after Baker Beam, Jim Beam’s grand-nephew, who worked at the family distillery for 38 years. The brand sits alongside Booker’s, Knob Creek and Basil Hayden, but has its own identity through a slightly lower barrel-entry proof and a fuller, nutty bourbon style.
Baker’s changed from a small batch bourbon to an exclusively single barrel release in 2019, giving each bottling more individual cask character. It is bottled at 107 proof, or 53.5% ABV, and aged for a minimum of seven years. The style is rich and rounded, with vanilla, toasted nuts, fruit, spice and charred oak shaped by each barrel’s position in the rickhouse.
