Bayou Reserve Rum is a Louisiana rum made from locally grown sugarcane and matured in American oak, giving it a richer, more rounded character than an unaged style. Bottled at 40% ABV, it leans into a warm, oak-led profile that feels closer in style to a bourbon-influenced rum.

Time in cask brings notes of vanilla, cinnamon and maple, with the oak adding structure without losing the rum’s natural sweetness. It makes for an easy-drinking but flavourful bottle, equally suited to sipping neat or mixing in spirit-forward serves.
