About Vestal
Vestal is a Polish potato vodka brand founded by William Borrell, inspired by traditional vodka-making and the idea that different potato varieties and growing conditions can influence the finished spirit. Produced in Poland using young potatoes, Vestal was developed to retain more character from its raw ingredients rather than pursuing an entirely neutral vodka style.
The potatoes used for Vestal are grown in the Kaszebe region of northern Poland, an area known for its agricultural landscape and mineral-rich soils. The vodka is produced in small batches, with the brand placing particular emphasis on provenance, potato variety and terroir – an approach more commonly associated with wine than vodka.
