Slane Irish Whiskey was launched in 2017 through a partnership between the Conyngham family of Slane Castle and American whiskey producer Brown-Forman. The distillery opened the following year within the restored 18th-century stables of the historic Slane Castle Estate in County Meath, at the heart of Ireland’s Boyne Valley. Slane Castle is also internationally known for its open-air concerts, giving the whiskey a close connection to the estate’s long association with music and live performance.
