Kingston 62 is a Jamaican rum with strong links to the island’s rum-making heritage, produced by J. Wray & Nephew and made at the Appleton Estate Distillery. Named in celebration of Jamaica’s independence in 1962, Kingston 62 replaced Appleton Special and Appleton White as the group’s standard rum range, allowing the Appleton Estate name to focus on its premium aged rum collection.
